LAUNCH: Scheduled Deliveries for Babyshop

We’re thrilled to unveil our latest feature on BabyshopStores.com — Scheduled Deliveries for products that need assembly. Through this feature, we believe we’re taking the Babyshop experience to the next level by giving our customers the freedom to pick their preferred delivery day and time as they shop online.

Enhancing the Babyshop experience

Babyshop began its E-commerce journey back in 2012 as part of LandmarkShops.com and launched its own site and apps, BabyshopStores.com in November 2016 (read more about it here). Until today, if customers bought Babyshop products like cribs, car seats or anything else that needs assembly, they would have to call our customer support team and make an appointment to arrange for its assembly.

As a mother of two who genuinely loves Babyshop products, I’ve always wished that I could schedule the delivery of my Babyshop products more conveniently, and I’m sure many other parents have felt the same way.

Ta da! Now with the launch of this brand new capability, our customers can get these products shipped when they choose. They can either opt for standard delivery and receive their products in four days or later, or select 2-day Express shipping for an additional AED 100.

How can I schedule my delivery?

Easy! All it takes is 4 simple steps:

How did we make this happen?

When we launched scheduled delivery for Home Centre in March 2016, our success rate for first-time deliveries increased from 85% to 97% which was a significant leap.`

To ensure that scheduled delivery works seamlessly for our Babyshop customers, a team of passionate people from the Web Team and Babyshop worked hand-in-hand for over a couple of months. It involved integrating multiple technologies including warehouse management systems, retail management systems and more. We’re super excited and proud to offer this capability to our online customers.
