It’s here! Apple Pay is now in the UAE
We’re extremely happy to announce that Apple Pay is now available as a secure payment method for all your purchases in the Landmark Group’s stores, apps and sites.
While today is the official release of Apple Pay in the UAE, a multi-disciplinary team within the Group, consisting of members from the Web Team, Shukran and Corporate IT, has been hard at work for months to make this secure payment method available in-store and online on day 1 of its launch. And we’re proud to say, we’ve succeeded!
Now pay conveniently with Apple Pay in-store.
With more than 300 points of sale in the UAE, the Landmark Group has grown over the years into one of the biggest retailers in the country, and we believe that by offering Apple Pay on day 1, we’ve set an example for the entire retail industry.
Paying with Apple Pay using your iPhone or Apple Watch works faster than paying with a Credit or Debit Card. There’s no need to wake your iPhone or open an app. Just the hold iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID. On the Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch up to the reader. This means that can you pay without having to reach for your wallet and hunting for the cash or cards you need.
Apple Pay is available at all the Group’s retail brands, including Home Centre, Splash, Max, Babyshop, Lifestyle, Centrepoint, Shoe Mart, Shoe Express, Home Box, SportsOne, Emax and Iconic. It’s also available at all the Group’s international brands like New Look, Reiss, Lipsy, Koton, Steve Madden, Dune, Kurt Geiger, Yours, Blocco 31, Ecco, Kazar, Nose, Pablosky, Puket, Aerosoles and Carpisa.
A simple and secure way to pay online!
Apple has put in a significant amount of effort to make online payments as seamless as possible. You can conveniently use Apple Pay on your iPhone, iPad and Mac from Safari. Paying happens with just a touch and is quicker, easier and more secure than ever before. With an iCloud account set up on all your eligible devices, Apple gives you the option to pay with the device closest to you.
Online shopping sites where our customers can pay with Apple Pay include HomeCentre.com, SplashFashions.com, MaxFashion.com, BabyshopStores.com, ShoeMartStores.com, LifestyleShops.com, homeboxstores.com and CentrepointStores.com. You can also pay on the iPhone apps of these brands.
Mobile payment services are one of the safer ways to pay. The customer’s card information is more secure because it isn’t stored on the device or shared with us when used. Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code to process the payment during a purchase. Apple only displays your most recent purchases for your convenience and your eyes only.
Who is eligible to use Apple Pay?
Ever since Apple announced Apple Pay at the iPhone 6 launch event on September 9th, 2014, the Apple Wallet has been a default app on all their devices. As of today, customers in the UAE will be able to add their Credit or Debit Cards to the wallet app and use them in-store and online. With the introduction of the first Apple Watch (series 1) on April 25th, 2015, Apple Pay also became available for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s users — which means that a vast majority of customers with an Apple device can use Apple Pay for their purchases!

- And finally, to pay on our E-commerce sites from Safari, you can use any of these:
— A MacBook Pro with Touch ID
— A MacBook combined with an iPhone or Apple Watch
